The Incredible Hungry Bin Worm Composter

The Hungry bin is a unique design. Traditional wormeries use trays of bedding material which need to be regularly changed and result in a cumbersome and messy process. The Hungry Bin is different. It uses a unique conical design which compresses the compost and encourages the worms to feed at the surface. This means the compost 'brick' harvested from the bottom of the hungry bin is largely free of worms. If there are one or two stragglers they can be placed back in the top of the bin to join their friends.

The conical design also works as a funnel strain moisture from the bin which not only keeps the worms healthy.  

This is the ideal wormery for composting a medium to large size families food waste. Its important to to only add food to match the worms appetite, don't add more food until the previous fed is all gone. You can feed your worms all fruit and veg waste except for onions or members of the onion family, and citrus fruits. They will also eat tea bags. coffee grinds, and crushed egg shells.
